Branch Celebration of 20 Years

International visit

Dover to Calais

P&O Pride of Dover 11:10 Sailing from Dover and then 18:50 return (French Time).

We met in the queue at the port and then travelled in style in the Club Lounge on the outward leg and had a talk

from one of the ships 4 masters. He answered all our questions and wished us well for the return as the weather

was a force 8 outward and was meant to worsen later.

Our return leg was a little rougher but we did not notice as we were in the Langans restaurant for our three course

meal with toasts to the branch, to Norman Hollamby for organising the ferry crossing and his work for the branch

and also to absent friends.
